About this program

The Pierce County AIDS Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 1987 to respond to the needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS in Pierce County and to prevent future transmissions of the virus. While HIV continues to shed light on social and cultural issues that further divide our community, PCAF is committed to leading the response to the AIDS crisis. Our organization provides comprehensive services that promote quality of life and well-being for those affected by HIV and prevention and education programs that are culturally relevant and scientifically sound. PCAF is a registered 501(c)(3) organization that receives funding from local, state, and federal governments, private foundations and individuals, churches, organizations, and corporations. A Board of Directors oversees the work of the Foundation staff and volunteers.
