Catholic Charities of East Tennessee Inc. - Appalachian Family Housing

Appalachian Family Housing assists families with children in the transition from homelessness, enabling them to live as independently as possible through the provision of supportive housing. Appalachian Family Housing can accommodate up to ten (10) families, providing housing in apartments and single-family homes scattered throughout eight counties in upper East Tennessee. Through lease agreements supported by the program, families are able to live on their own and learn to maintain a home. Catholic Charities provides rent assistance to each of the ten families. The goal of this program is to facilitate the movement of the families to permanent housing.
