Section 8
The Section 8 Mainstream Housing Program for People with Disabilities expands access to safe, decent, affordable housing for eligible disabled households in Pinellas County through rental assistance. Recipients of a Section 8 voucher are entitled to rental assistance, requiring them to pay only 1/3 of their monthly income on rent. Staff work to ensure the quality of housing meets the standards of both Boley Centers and the Department of Housing and Urban Development through regular inspections,
