Auburn United Methodist Church - M.E.R.C.Y. Ministry

MERCY (Methodist Emergency Relief for the Community) is one major way that we at AUMC reach out to those in need around us. The mission of the MERCY Ministry is to witness God’s love to others by giving financial assistance to persons in Lee County who are experiencing a crisis in their lives and are temporarily unable to provide for themselves and/or their families. In addition to monetary aide to help with housing and utility expenses, the MERCY committee members, other volunteers and the coordinator prayerfully strive to give information, referrals, verbal support, encouragement and a listening heart to persons seeking help in hard times.
