About this program

Both
The Public Housing program is a government subsidized housing assistance program for low-income families and individuals. Public Housing offers low-income families and individuals the opportunity to rent an affordable apartment with the Auburn Housing Authority. Under this program, the tenant can expect to pay about 30% to 40% of their monthly income towards their rent. As a tenant you will be responsible for your power bill and cable if you choose to have it. Your water, sewer, and trash bills are calculated with your rent.
