The Wakefield Housing Commission is under the Federal Housing Department (HUD). The Executive Director is Sherry Graham. Sherry is responsible for all General Operations and Financial matters of Sunset Manor. The Commission was started in 1969 and has been going strong since, helping the elderly secure affordable, low income housing in Wakefield. There are 30 apartments in Sunset Manor consisting of Efficiency Apartments and 1 bedrooms. This is an independent living facility with a full time maintenance man, Mark Demerath who has been on staff for 5 years.
