Waccamaw Economic Opportunity Council, Inc. - Kingstree Community Services

Waccamaw Economic Opportunity Council, Inc., (WEOC) was chartered as a Community Action Agency on December 6, 1965 to serve Horry and Georgetown Counties. The Agency's tax exempt status, 501(c)(3), was established on March 29, 1966. An expansion to include Williamsburg County occurred on July 1, 1974. Mission: Making a positive difference in the lives of children, families, individuals and communities by providing innovative services and collaborating with agencies and organizations to promote economic self-sufficiency while providing a hand-up to those who need it most.
