About this program

Section 8
The Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is designed to assist families obtain a decent place to live at a cost which they can afford. Generally, someone who is selected for the program pays between 30% and 40% of their income for rent, and the rest is paid by the Federal Government through the Village of Ossining Section 8 Program.
