I'm Jewish and disabled living in Caswell lakes I contacted Adam from valley charity and he told me that he could not help me because I caused all my problems so how is a charity function if the people in need caused their problems how can a man tell another man he doesn't deserve help because he caused his situation and is not the victim I'm a stanch believer of G-D and this man is not a man who believes in the word or in this charity just a job to him.
I am responding because I saw the article in the People's Paper. I have always heard that experiencing a family emergency can put a family on the street. What I didn't know was that it would happen to us. I reached out for help, very humbling. What I found in our community was love and support. It was as if people felt my pain and sensed my stress. I was supported through our family ordeal and we did not loose our house. To all those who work tirelessly to make sure Valley residents are not left behind we commend you, admire you and will forever pray and support you! God Bless all your efforts ??????????????
