Two Rivers Head Start Agency - River Ridge Early & CSBG

The Mission of Two Rivers Head Start Agency is to alleviate the effects of poverty by providing education, support services and opportunities for children, families and communities. Two Rivers Head Start Agency is a community action agency which provides Head Start Services for eligible children and families throughout Kane, Kendall, Dekalb, Boone, and Grundy Counties. Early Head Start and CSBG services are available for individuals in Kane County. The Agency strives to be an effective advocate for children and families affected by poverty. The CSBG program is designed to provide a range of services which assist eligible individuals to attain skills, knowledge, and motivation necessary to achieve self sufficiency. The program also may provide individuals with immediate life necessities such as food, shelter or medicine.

CSBG (Emergency Assistance - Provides limited financial assistance for rent, medical & dental care, car repairs, insurance, and gasoline; Veterans Outreach - Provides comprehensive assessment, information, advocacy and referral services to CSBG eligible veterans; Food Pantry; Child Care Subsidy; Car Program; Loan Program; Back to School)
