About this program

Since 1937, Triangle Family Services (TFS) has served as a safety net for the community. TFS accomplishes its mission of “Building a Stronger Community by Strengthening the Family” through one of TFS' focus areas that include Family Safety, Financial Stability, and Mental Health. These direct family services directly impact children from economically disadvantaged and/or abused homes. Emergency Housing Assistance (EHA): Families facing homelessness because of financial crisis come to EHA. In 2014, counselors assisted 225 families
Services offered
Emergency Housing Assistance prevents homelessness by providing emergency financial assistance and up to 12 months including intensive case management and budget counseling to individuals and families who are facing imminent risk of eviction from their homes or who are already homeless and seeking help with first month's rent.
