Appointments to apply for General Assistance are on Tuesdays. There are two appointment times available: 8:30am and 8:50am. Please call in advance and schedule an appointment. In addition to scheduling an appointment you must bring the necessary documentations with you to your first (and subsequent) appointment. This document (Application for General Assistance) is located on the website or available for pickup at the Selectmen's office. Remember, the application must be completed and brought with you to your appointment, along with any other documents listed on the application. You may apply for assistance once per month. Assistance is NOT ongoing. If you think you need help in the future, call to set up another appointment, fill out another application and bring the documents listed on the application with you to your appointment.
