Madison residents who need assistance with basic necessities may apply for public assistance with the Town. eneral Assistance hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Services offered
Assistance for basic necessities: Food, clothing, shelter, fuel, electricity, nonelective essential medical services, nonprescription drugs, basic telephone service where it is necessary for medical reasons, property taxes when a tax lien placed on the property threatens the loss of the applicant's place of residence, and any other commodity or service determined essential by the municipality
