Town of Kennebunkport - General Assistance

The General Assistance Program is a state mandated program for the provision of basic needs for eligible applicants. Basic needs include: rent, food, utilities, fuel, and other services essential to maintaining individuals who are Kennebunkport residents. All assistance is granted in voucher form. No cash assistance is issued. Applicants are requested to make an appointment for application review. At the time of review, applicants are to bring current receipts, proof of income and proof of identification for themselves and all household members.
