About this program

The Town of Eliot administers a General Assistance program for the support of the poor. Pursuant to Title 22 MRSA Sec. 4305, the municipal officers have adopted an ordinance establishing that program.

Assistance for basic necessities such as Rent/Mortgage, Heating Fuel, LP Gas, Electricity, Non-Elective Medical Services, Telephone When Medically Necessary, Food, Personal Supplies, Household Supplies
