About this program

Mission Statement: To use fiscally responsible judgment when utilizing resources of the General Assistance Program to provide eligible applicants with basic life necessities. Necessities include, but are not limited to shelter, heat, utilities, food and medical needs. All guidelines shall remain within local, state and federal laws and regulations. Administrators shall treat applicants and other agencies with dignity and respect while providing referrals to resources and agencies that may reduce or eliminate the need for General Assistance.
