The Salvation Army Savannah - Center of Hope

When hearing The Salvation Army most people think of the bell ringers at Christmas time or think of the thrift stores. People may not realize the vast amount that The Salvation Army does to help people in need. "Doing the Most Good" comes from one of the founders of our organization. In 1919 Evangeline Booth wrote that, "There is no reward equal to that of doing the most good to the most people in the most need." In Savannah alone we offer, shelters, disaster services, food services, counciling, rehab, after school programs, arts and music education, camps, worship services, and opportunities for people to turn their lives around.
