The Salvation Army Portland Metro - Portland Tabernacle

Originally named the Portland Citadel, the Portland Tabernacle has been a part of Portland since 1888, almost as long as The Salvation Army has had a presence in Portland. First located downtown at the current US Bank Building site, Portland Tabernacle moved to its current location on NE Sandy Blvd. in the 1960’s. Only over the past 15 years has the Portland Tabernacle expanded from its primary worship services to be able to offer many other services to the community.
