The Salvation Army of Horry County

The Salvation Army, one of America's largest and most respected charitable organizations, opened its work in Horry County in 1949. Since then, The Salvation Army has been giving compassionate service to the needy through a variety of programs and services. The Salvation Army Social Service programs help needy families in Horry County with food, clothing, financial counseling, rent, utilities, and assistance at Christmas with food and toys. Services are conducted by appointment from our Social Service office in Conway.
