The Salvation Army of High Point

The Salvation Army is Doing the Most Good to meet the basic needs of all who come seeking help. Taking immediate care of the basic human needs of food, shelter, clothing and safety, assistance to pay utilities, and other necessities based on the need is an important first step in the development of a more positive and permanent change in the people we help. The Salvation Army has programs to support low-income households. Financial assistance is available to help pay rent, mortgage and utilities so people can remain in their homes. The program also provides assistance to avoid shut-off or restore electric services and other utilities like gas and water. The programs run year-round. In the hot summers or cold winters when utility bills are at their highest, The Salvation Army is there to help our community.
