About this program

In trying times many turn to The Salvation Army for assistance in paying their utility bills and rent. During Christmas, thousands of children and seniors in our community sign up for our Angel Tree Christmas assistance program to receive Christmas gifts. Providing social services is an important part of The Salvation Army’s mission to meet human needs without discrimination. These services are provided free of charge to those who qualify based on their income and individual needs. As a leader in offering community assistance, The Salvation Army works closely with our partner organizations to ensure all of our clients’ necessities are met. Program partially funded by Harris County Community Services Department, and the City of Houston Housing and Community Development through the Child Care Council of Greater Houston, Inc.
Services offered
Rent Assistance; Mortgage Assistance; Water Bill Assistance
