About this program

The Lighthouse Foundation offers emergency financial assistance for families facing a crisis situation in which they need temporary help to pay their rent or utility bills. Anyone receiving financial assitance is required to subsequently attend one of several financial literacy classes offered at various times and locations throughout Butler County. Requests for assistance should be made in person at The Lighthouse Foundation on Wednesdays between 9am-3pm, or by appointment by contacting Victoria Smouse at 724.586.5554.
