The Ankeny Service Center

The Ankeny Service Center (ASC) coordinates human services and referrals for the residents of Ankeny and northern Polk County. Our areas of emphasis are: coordination of services, youth and families and seniors. We have been helping the residents of Ankeny and surrounding communities in northern Polk County since 1981. Formerly a satellite office for United Way of Central Iowa, the Ankeny Service Center has been operating independently since July 1, 2010. We've helped countless individuals and families in need. We work with our clients to identify needs, develop solutions, utilize qualified partners and make the appropriate referrals. Programs we operate include: Holiday Assistance, emergency rent and utility assistance, transportation services for seniors, food assistance and prescription assistance.
