Stockbridge-Munsee Community Division of Community Housing

The Division of Community Housing (DCH) is funded through HUD under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self-Determination Act of 1996 (NAHASDA). This act gave Tribes the opportunity to write their own plans for providing housing assistance to their people. Because of the independence allowed under NAHASDA, the Tribe has written and approved policies for admission and occupancy for both the low-income apartments and the homebuyer programs.
