St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church - House of Bread

The House of Bread was established in the early 1980’s to provide assistance to those in need. It is a volunteer organization which has grown in size to where it helps hundreds of people each month with food, clothing, rent and utility assistance. The House of Bread is located at the northeast corner of 27th and Penn. Marie Lederer has been a coordinator for many years. She is assisted by a large number of volunteers who spend many hours helping with this ministry. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM
