Southern Ute Indian Tribe Housing Department

Mission: To provide safe, sanitary, habitable, and affordable housing by means of tribal funding, grant funding, private funding, or outside lending agencies. To provide assistance to tribal members who may need guidance with home repairs or needing to get quotes from outside contractors for home repairs and providing educational assistance such as first time home-buyers, personal budgeting of individual expenses, and courses on home maintenance, and preventive maintenance for private home owners as well as tribal home owners. Provide to Tribal member home owners a list of qualified contractors who have met all of the requirements set forth by the Southern Ute Indian Tribe’s Department of Housing who can do repair work on the Southern Ute Indian Reservation.
