About this program

Shelter of Hope is a 501-c-3 non-profit, emergency and transitional shelter established in 1988 in response to the rising need for assistance among homeless families in Ashland, Kentucky and the surrounding areas. The Shelter of Hope provides 10 fully-furnished emergency and transitional housing units, homeless prevention services and case management to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in Boyd and Greenup County, Kentucky.
Services offered
Rent and utility deposit assistance (if funds are available); Housing referrals; Financial counseling; Case management; Emergency housing up to 90 days; Transitional housing up to 2 years (for those who qualify); Free laundry facilities; Emergency food/toiletry pantry; Assistance with household furnishings
