SETHRA - Grundy County

Since 1965 SETHRA has been addressing the needs of families, individuals, and communities of Southeast Tennessee. We began as Progress for People and evolved into the Southeast Tennessee in 1985. Our presence in the community is one of uniqueness because of our committed participation to both the Tennessee Human Resource Association and the Tennessee Association of Community Action. As a member of both associations, SETHRA is able to integrate, coordinate, and provide a wide variety of services to individuals, families and communities.

Crisis Intervention Program (assists low income individuals in an emergency situation by providing rent, utilities, mortgages and food); Homeless Assistance Program (assists with first month’s rent and with utility deposits); Housing Choice Voucher; Low-Income Home Energy Assistance; Project Help; Project Hometown; Shelter Plus Care; Supportive Housing Program; Weatherization
