Puertorriqueños Asociados for Community Organization, Inc. (PACO)

PACO Home Energy Assistance Program manages the following programs: LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program), USF (Universal Service Fund), TRUE (Temporary Relief for Utility Expenses) and NJSHARES. These programs provide assistance to eligible low and moderate income households, senior citizens, people with disabilities among others in need with their home heating and energy costs. We encourage all individuals and families whom are facing economic hardships to apply. Home energy covers the following energy resources: oil, gas, propane and kerosene. Energy assistance eligibility is based on income and household size. PACO in affiliation with the Department of Community Affairs has been aiding the people of Hudson County for over 30 years.
