My name is James Williamson I receive SSI and SSDI. My total monthly income is 772 dollars. From which 220 dollars is deducted for child support. That leaves me with $552.40. My disability is Chronic COPD which has left me oxygen dependant. It is hard for me to carry out the activities of day to day life. I recently was staying at West care Emergency Homeless Shelter. The time limit of a stay at this facility is 90 days. Unfortunately, my time expired August 26th. Which has left me homeless without the benefit of even the accommodations provided by the homeless shelter. I have been on the list for a housing voucher since May of this year, to no avail. I am now in the greatest conundrum of my life.I have nowhere to turn. I am quite literally sleeping outside. I am in dire need of housing assistance. Any form of assistance you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Be it a voucher for housing or even guidance to an organization that could help.
