Mainstream Vouchers are a special type of rental subsidy designed to assists households that include a person with disabilities. The Mainstream program vouchers are targeted towards persons with disabilities who face difficulties in locating suitable, accessible housing and living independently in the private market. Only an income-eligible family that includes a disabled person may receive a Mainstream voucher.
