As a HUD Housing Authority, Panhandle Community Services promotes the “Fair Housing Act” that strives to achieve affordable and decent living environments for all people. Hundreds of Section 8 vouchers for rental assistance are issued throughout the 26 counties to serve thousands of Texas Panhandle residents. To be eligible, families must meet income guidelines that are set by the federal government.
