About this program

Pace Community Action is a private not-for-profit corporation committed to community development and providing services to low-income residents in Southwestern Indiana. Our movement began in May of 1965 when the Community Action Agency network was established under the Economic Opportunity Act of 1964, which was signed by President Lyndon Johnson and declared an "unconditional War on Poverty."
