Orange County Housing Authority

The Housing Voucher Choice program, commonly referred to as Section 8, is a program that provides rental assistance to families and individuals who find themselves at or below fifty percent of the county median income for their family size. Designed to provide long-term rental assistance, the program helps people rent from property owners on the private market. The program serves families with children, elderly and disabled individuals, as well as families with members who are disabled.
