North Georgia Community Action, Inc. serves Catoosa, Chattooga, Cherokee, Dade, Fannin, Gilmer, Pickens, Murray, Walker & Whitfield counties. North Georgia Community Action, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non -profit organization that began operations in May of 1974. Through a variety of community service programs, we aim to improve the quality of life for the low-income, elderly and home-bound populations. Mission: Helping People, Help Themselves. Providing much needed services to deserving families and our senior citizens who meet federal income guidelines.

Emergency Assistance (rental/mortgage assistance; prescription medication assistance; utility crisis intervention; budget counseling and referrals); LIHEAP; Weatherization
