About this program

The Mountain Communities Family Resource Center (MCFRC) started in 1999 after the El Tejon Unified School District received a Healthy Start Operational Grant. Community members voiced their opinions through door-to-door surveys, focus groups, community meetings and key informant interviews about family and community needs, which helped set goals to improve: Public Safety, Medical Services, Transportation, Recreation Services Adult Services (Education & Employment)
