East View Court is an elderly complex constructed with Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds in 1966 to house elderly tenants (62 years of age or older) with limited income. In recent years, new laws and regulations permitted East View Court to house people with disabilities and also "near-elderly" (50 years or older).
