MIFA was founded in 1968. Today, we serve over 50,000 people annually. MIFA partners with 200 congregations in West Tennessee, and thousands of volunteers and donors help keep our high-impact programs alive.

Emergency Services: rent, mortgage payments, utilities, and food; Emergency Shelter Placement; Homeless Hotline; Rapid Rehousing; Meals on Wheels; Transit Program; Senior Companion; Long-Term Care Ombudsman
