About this program

The Community Action and Human Services Department (CAHSD) is Miami-Dade County’s largest provider of comprehensive social and human services. CAHSD covers the full lifetime spectrum, from children to the elderly, relieving hardship and helping Miami-Dade’s residents become self-sufficient, productive and independent. Programs are designed to target low-income individuals and families. The service delivery model is strongly client-centered and results-oriented.

Mrs. Wilkins at the front desk is very unprofessional. On more the on occasion she showed me she does understand client confidentiality. Always has a bad additude. I overheard her speaking to the LIHEAP staff about me in a very unprofessional manner. When I announced to her about what I heard she told me " I said it Because I felt like it" I will put in my complaint to her Director Monday Morning. As a community we need to stay professional an uplifting our community residents not bring us down.
