Marion County Job and Family Services - PRC Program

Marion County Job & Family Services manages an emergency assistance program also known as the PRC Program (Prevention, Retention, and Contingency). PRC is designed to provide benefits and services to low-income families who have experienced a temporary setback or unexpected crisis. PRC programs vary between counties, are based on community needs, and are dependent upon available funding. To be eligible for the PRC program, a family must meet certain income guidelines and must include a child under the age of 18 who resides with a parent, specified relative, legal guardian, or legal custodian.

PRC include: Shelter Assistance (rent or deposit or mortgage payment), Utility Assistance, Purchase of Residential Stove or Refrigerator, Tire Replacement, Vehicle Repair, Vehicle Insurance, Work Boots, Uniforms, etc.
