MadCAAP

MadCAAP is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to assisting families living in poverty in Madison County MS. MadCAAP was founded in 1985 by Sister Grace Mary McGuire who assembled some citizens concerned about the needs of the large population of people living in poverty in Madison County. Through the first few years, MadCAAP realized that education, housing and emergency assistance were the biggest needs; so we developed programs accordingly. These programs have continued to expand over the past 28 years. In 2013, MadCAAP serves over 3,000 families and operates a Clothing Closet, Food Pantry, Housing Repair and Krista Cottage Program, Helping Hands Garden and New Attitudes Classes.
