About this program

Lowcountry Community Action Agency is a private non-profit 501 C (3) organization governed by a fifteen member Board of Directors. The agency was established in 1974 to provide a vast number of comprehensive services geared toward self-sufficency for low-income residents of Colleton and Hampton Counties of South Carolina. The programs and services are designed to assist low-income families in meeting their household short and long term needs.
