About this program

Life House is the only drop-in center for homeless youth in Northeastern Minnesota. Life House Youth CenterAt Life House, efforts are made to help at-risk youth break the cycles of poverty, homelessness, and abuse. Our LIFELINE Building offers immediate access to emergency needs such as food, shelter, basic health care, life skills development, and "one-on-one" support services in safe housing, education, employment, and positive health.
Services offered
Housing Services: provides emergency rental assistance for eligible homeless and at-risk youth and young families; offers transitional housing services for homeless youth ages 16-20 in Duluth, MN; offers "one-on-one" case management and follow-up services for low-income youth ages 16-20 and young families who are homeless, unsafely housed, or facing eviction; has access to household cleaning supplies and furniture, when available; instructs weekly “Housing Basics” classes held on-site in our Youth Center, available for high school credit; offers direct access to help with jobs and school to increase earned income
