About this program

Joseph’s House is a ministry of Saint Joseph Co-Cathedral, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, St. Francis Xavier Parish, and Christ the King/St. Anthony Parish. The center was founded in 2000, thanks to the generosity of the St. Joseph's parishoners, the Society of Saint Edmund, and Robert & Cynthia Hoehl, to serve the Old North End of Burlington and the parish community. Our ministry now reaches beyond the O.N.E. as we work to promote positive social change in the community through outreach, advocacy, and parish ministry in light of Catholic Social Teaching. Joseph's House is able to assistance with a variety of needs, such as back rent, utility shut offs, security deposits, food and laundry vouchers, clothing vouchers, and hygiene items. We are open for Direst Aid starting the second week of each month. Anyone in need of assistance is welcome to call the center on a Monday to set up an appointment for that week.
