Jewish Family Service of Akron - Financial Assistance

Since 1913, JFS has been serving the greater Akron and Summit County community. In 2009, in response to the increasing aging of the community, JFS core programs became specialized to meet the unique needs of both seniors and the adults who care for them. JFS enhances the mental, emotional and social well being of individuals 45 and over and their families, through Counseling, Care Management, and Education, consistent with Jewish values. We serve both the Jewish and non-Jewish community and our fees are calculated on a sliding scale. Because many of our clients are low income, no one is denied services based on their inability to pay.
