Jewish Family & Children's Service - Financial Assistance

The Financial Assistance program helps individuals and families cope with short- term crisis situations due to unemployment or under-employment, illness and other unexpected life situations. Through this program, funds are provided for rent, utilities, mortgage or other unforeseen financial expenses along with individual support and guidance. Our social workers educate clients on household budgeting, offer information and referral and work to provide clients with the tools they need to reach and maintain self-sufficiency. Through the Jewish Federation and private donors, Jewish Family & Children's Service administers several funds available to families in crisis.
