Houston Housing Authority

The Houston Housing Authority is the local administrator of the federal Low-Rent Public Housing Program and the Housing Choice Voucher Program (formerly Section 8), as well as other housing, homeownership and self-sufficiency programs for low- to moderate-income families, seniors and persons with disabilities within the City of Houston. The agency's programs provide more than 19,000 units of affordable housing and serve more than 55,000 Houstonians.
