Section 8

There are two main Section 8 Voucher programs: one for Santa Cruz County and one for the San Benito County city of Hollister which also includes San Juan Bautista. Families may apply for both programs; however, if the family is not living in the jurisdiction of the program at the time the family goes on the Waiting List, when the voucher is issued the family must find a rental in the jurisdiction of the program from which the voucher was issued.
