Section 8
HRA administers the Section 8 federally funded Housing Choice Voucher Program to assist extremely low and very low-income families, elderly, and disabled residents. Preference is given to those applicants who live and or work in the Town of Amherst and all towns of Franklin County with the exception of Greenfield.

unfair treatment

Property manager demanded a 'move-in' date' before I had ANY information, has stalled on my application for weeks- "I'll tell you tomorrow" and doesn't, leaving me in the dark, unable to plan a move-WHEN?, w/ winter coming on. Very unprofessional treatment of my application, unclear or no communication.
