About this program

Formerly known as ACCESS, the Kennedy King Center Homeless Prevention Program provides adults and families with the help they need to achieve self-sufficiency, personal enrichment and positive mental and physical well-being in order to proactively prevent homelessness in our community. This program seeks to intervene and assist families and individuals in crisis situations, thereby eliminating stress that may keep them from focusing on long term solutions. Staff then works with residents in need to identify solutions to chronic problems, with the overall goals being self-sufficiency and financial independence.
